Who Qualifies To Get A Bursary Or College Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and will shut on fifteen December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the following requirements:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who emanates from a house with a combined gross residence income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• People with disabilities qualify if their combined home money won't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for funding and wish not post any proof of earnings.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the proper Identity Document numbers, names, and surname, as mirrored in their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds individuals who are researching or intend to study in a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to study in any read more of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until the last day.
